Question Is my dog sick?

I noticed that my dog (Tasha) has been laying in her bed and being extremely possesive (won't leave it, not even for cheese! Also won't let anyone touch her). While in her bed she has also been licking her paws.

She's around 10 years old (don't know exact age because we rescued her from the woods near a consturction site) and she's a Chihuaha mixed with a Papilion. She's taking antibiotics (for a small skin infection) and human medication for allergies. She also had fleas a week ago. Any ideas?

UPDATE: She is beginning to growl A LOT. I haven't seen any physical damage.

It sounds like she may be in pain. You should take her to the vet where he can properly look her over. If this is new behavior for her - the sooner you take her the better

I agree with everyone here. It sounds like pain. See a vet.

She is definitly sounding like she's in pain, she may not want you to touch her because she is very sensitive and hurting. She might have arthritis (maybe thats why she isn't leaving her bed)

Well I took her to the vet. Said she just has arthiritis and didn't perscribe anything. Think low strength aspirin should help her pain?
