pyrsheps and ear cropping...
ok, seeing as how until I made the post of pyrsheps none of you had ever heard of em lol this is a shot in the dark, but something that has been bothering me natly is why on earth do they crop pyrsheps ears? in any other breed cropping is to make the ears stand, in pyrsheps this is not the case, cropping is not clipping a little cartilege its quite litterlly chopping off the top half of the ear to make it appear tipped
in any other breed that is supposed to be tip ears for the show right the ears are simpley glued or weighted, but in pyrsheps if the ears dont naturally tip they just chop em off! and it does actually make the ears look tipped, because their ears are so fuzzy that without touching the dogs ears you cant tell it they are cropped or naturally tipped. either way it makes no ence at all to me, its not as if the fuzzy hair on the ears would get in the way of gluing as the fuzz does not develop till after a year of age!

Just look like big fuzzy lumps to me. LOL.
I have no clue, but my guess is that some or their ears may prick less that others. If the ears only stand half way, maybe they cut it so that it becomes a 3/4 prick. |

the thing is it does not matter how tipped they are, they just have to perk up at least a little and flop it can be a 1/4 prick, a half prick a 3/4 prick anything that is not a total flop or a full prick lol they are also croped with anything from a 1/4 prick to a 3/4 prick lol
