my dog doesnt eat much anymore

i got Kaylee and River new food and at first they were doing great. They started eating once i day which I knew would happen(i offer them food twice a day though) but Kaylee has started eating only once every two days. She will go a whole day and the next day and not eat until the next night. I have tried feeding her in different places in the house but it doesnt seem to help at all. Im concerned about this. I mean she is still eating she just skips days. Should I be worried??

It sounds like she really doesn't like the food and only eats it when she has no alternative. Is someone sneaking her treats?

Changing food might be worth a try

no one is sneaking her treats, i dont allow my family to feed my dogs(they dont know how to do it right) i dont want to change her food again because i dont know if she will eat the next food and the food she is eating right now is like the best food for dogs. River loves the food though! lol.

Is it hot where you are? Maybe the heat is getting to her. I am assuming she is in good health otherwise.

it is hot here but not inside. We have the AC and the fans on at all time. Yes she is in good health. She was eating fine with the food before but once I got her the new food she just stopped eating.
The old food my mom was feeding her was Pedigree which is horrible for dogs. I finally got some money so I bought River new food and switched Kaylee over to it also. I would go back to the old food but it is just horrible. I couldnt believe my eyes when I looked at the ingredients!

With the heat my dogs eat less, even in the A/C.
Try putting some plain yogurt on top, I used that trick this morning, all 3 bowls have been licked clean.
All you need is a tablespoon or 2.
