Frosty Paws ice cream for dogs

Here are two recipes that we use to fill Magic's kong or just give to her as a yummy treat.

FROSTY PAWS

Version 1:

1 large yoghurt
1-2 bananas
3/4 cup water

Version 2:

1 large yoghurt
3 bananas
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
Procedure

Mix everything together in food processor
.
Put in paper muffin cups or ice cube trays
Freeze.
They do not freeze hard - keep in the freezer.

I prefer to use the plain yogurt because of the artificial sweetener they have in the fruit flavored ones. That new sugar alcohol sweetener xylanol or what ever the name is can really mess up a dog's blood sugar and cause lots of serious problems.

Ok, well that's ok, I like the plain one better anyway! The fruit one has pips in it! That's right, I'm as picky an eater as Ninka is!
