My first Rescue!!!

Well, not officially.
At the store where I work, this one lady brings in her golden pup all the time. I love the dog. She is about 6mos. and really needs training. Unfortunately, the woman will not take my advice. After only working with the pup for about 10 minutes, I had her walking on a leash so well that you never would have known I just showed her what to do. But the woman didn't reinforce it, so the pup forgot. Now, the woman came in and told me she couldn't keep the dog anymore. So I asked her how much longer she was willing to keep the dog and she told me until she could find a good home. So I started making some calls and asking good people I know if they wanted to meet her and eventually, someone my mom works with was interested. They told me they were going to call the lady and go to see the pup! I really hope this works out. I know if they see her, they will want her. And the woman who would be taking her has dog experience. Plus, I told her that I would train the dog, so I will still be able to see her. Believe me, I would take the dog myself if I could. She's so sweet.

That's awesome. It's too bad the lady didn't know what she was getting into when she got a puppy. People like that kill me, it's crazy. people have kids and most people keep them but people think that they can just get rid of animals easy as 1...2...3... crazy!!!! Hope everything works out for the puppy.

I don't think I will. The joke about about her is that she always returns her products and now she is returning her puppy. I hope that this pup ends up in this home. I'm going to call tomorow.
