Exclamation Help! Sick dog?

Hello, this is about Deja, my friends dog (and choppers play mate) She's a mutt, and 5 yrs old, and starting yesterday she has been throwing up (i think like 3 times so far) and also her poop really really smells. I can stand dog poo, but this is like something crawled from the grave. Any suggestions on what could have caused this?

is the dog innoculated for Parvo? It has that special stinky smell.? Try and rule this out first, then check for worms, all kinds, run a fecal sample into the vet, then if wormy worm the dog out when better, not when ill though.
Give it a tbsp of canned pumpkin or tbsp of Pepto to sooth the stomach, I was told to give my pup Inko from Germany when very young and had stress real bad to give tbsp of Pepto five times a day.
Boil raw hamburger and rice for its meal lightly, lots of water so it does not dehydrate. Even offer slivers of ice if it does not drink enough.
Cook some cicken and rice also. Do NOT over feed till a diagnose is made then follow vet instructions till on way to good health then put on top of the line dog food.

Any vomiting more than once or even twice calls for a vet visit. Be prepared, bring in a fecal sample as well.

I doubt Parvo being the dog is 5 yrs old. Even if it's only had one vaccination as a puppy.. older dogs are less likely to be suceptible to it.

Could be giardia as well.

Call the vet, bottom line.
