i need help asap
well i have this dog i rescued about 3 weeks ago it was not eating and so i took him to the vet well the vet ran tests and siad he has addisons he told me that he could ive him a shot every month but its like $150 i can afford that i was wondering if any one knows any thing or any other treamment or any info please right back i need help

hi it helped me alot but what i still want to no is if there is any other meds that are not $150 o month i cant afford that

I'm sorry to hear that too! Have you asked your vet if there are any other options? You could always ask a few vets and see what they suggest!

Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything much cheaper out there to treat Addison's. You can effectively treat Addison's, but not cure it, and it is expensive. I am sorry of your dilemna. I wish you the best of luck.

depending on what kind of dog he is, there may be a rescue group that can connect him to a family who do have the means of medicating him. it might be something you want to check on before you have him put down.
