Smile

Hey everyone,
I'm new to this forum so I thought I'd test everything out and see how it all works. I hope to frequent here quite a bit now that I have a job at a grooming place near me (I love it! )
I'm 16 and I have a 1 year old, male yellow lab named Mondo- he's def one of the best things that has ever happened to me! I'm going to be getting a 2nd dog next summer... still tossing around some breeds in my head... along with thinking about rescuing a mix
This looks like a great place, can't wait to get to know all of you

Hello, I am somewhat new also, and I also have a Lab(yellow) named Sully. He is 12 weeks old.
Congrats on your job. I am partial to Collies and/or Border Collie. VERY INTELLIGENT DOGS. Have you thought about those?
Good luck with everything.

I have thought about both of those breeds, but sort of ruled them both out. I know they are very smart, and that's why I was thinking of getting the short haired collie. The hair would be too much for me on the long haired ones.

Border collies have just too much energy for me. I don't mind an energetic dog, but every BC I've met was really hyper.

I was thinking german shorthaired pointer or rhodesian ridgeback. The shorthaired collies is a good thought too though... thanks for the idea
