Has anyone heard of this food?

Just curious if anyone has heard of or tried Pet Botanics Premium. I got it at pet smart and it kind looks like a large salami. I currently feed Blue Buffalo, I thought I would try this with it, I am just not sure wether or not that is a good idea.

ingredients: Lamb meat, lamb hearts, lamb kidneys, lamb lung, whole wheat flour, brown rice, wheat bran, lamb fat, sucrose, flax seed meal

Will this be to fattening for my dog? Any advice would be appreciated thanks!

NO! no wheat and this has tons. Blue buffalo would be a better choice. Plus, liver and heart has a lot of fat, which may cause problems in the future.

I use it for training it cuts easly and I can freeze what I don't use. I also use it to give my boy pills, they never know what hits them. The Blue Bufflo is a better everyday food.

Long as it does not contain corn, wheat and by products of fillers of junk totally so.
First ingredients should read meat products or like chicken meal for chicken alone is full of water. Learn to read the ingredients in small print and learn about the totally junk put into our pets dog foods we pay a high price for and think we are getting good food, read my post on my site now at www.vomschreknhaus.com and see if that helps you out. Today i spent the entire day other than brushing my dogs and feeding twice I studied foods, ingredients, makes me ill to do this but I punish myself doing this to better know the junk our poor pets get in top brands so to speak of. Paying top dollars also, it is a totaly joke and vets get a kick back on Science Diet with Vet Approved and my vet admitted it he would not feed his dog this yet lets them put this on front of bags. FRAUD............BIG TIME I SAY SO? Just learn to read what I post on my site I have researched and learn to read small lettering of what is in ingredients...............

The foods generally mentioned are simply not available in this area but, anyway, I'm happy with what I use.

The vet recommended Purina, My Home Health Aide has two beautiful healthy dogs she feeds that to and my neighbor who has two beautiful healthy dogs feed it as well. I feed Purina 1 Lamb and Rice.

I checked and it does include corn meal so I wondered why it shouldn't be in the food.

When I eat corn on the cob, I leave some on and give it to Mike because he loves it and enjoys it so I'm very concerned about this.

I have heard of it.But never bought it for my dogs.
