Flees

my dog and cat both have flees, and we're trying to get rid of them...and we've got rid of LOADS, just not all...what do you suggest we should use?

Talk to your vet about using a spot on treatment. In the U.S. we have a few Frontline, Advantage....ect. Your vet can tell you what to use on your cat and dog. you may also have to treat your whole house, bedding curtins, sofa, rugs, floors with a spray or fogger.

Just a tidbit of info, if you use a spot on treatment, you have to use it 48 hours before a bathing your pets or 48 house after.

Good luck
Sue

Yes, definitely go to a vet.

Then wash ALL of their bedding, and spray the house and SS says. And consider a good flea preventative in the future.

Don't forget the carpet! Or outside in the grass. It depends on how big the problem is, bu they dwell in the carpet too and in the grass outside. So, even if you get them off the dog, if they're alive somewhere else they'll come back.

I used Dog frontline plus on my cats and sog, you would just need a cc seringe and bput on the backor the neck Cats get .5 cc and get the dog frontline in your dogs weight range. thats a way that you can save money, when your buying the same thing.

There's a new product out in the UK called Advocate - it's a really good spot on treatment that you get from your vets. BUT you will have to treat all others areas of the house as well.
