Ready For Puppies Very Soon: Keep Abreast!!!!
Ok Folks I love on this forum so much I am ready with painted whelp rooms below, whelp boxes cleaned, lined with lineolum, to wipe off and tons of shreeed paper in bags, chairs for visitors to sit and look and take pictures then next one due, only one chars.. Notice my shelves with equipment, once asked to grow hair back I mentioned Cornorna, it is there yet from years back, do not kow if it can be bought, but I have a large can of deep thick yellow grease that brings hair back quickly on animals.
I have to place the shredded paper in when she starts mostly in the office with one or two, we move them in a box lined to whelp room where they stay, I place a bucket of water with ice in it and no food. I offer water in a smaller dish often during long hours of whelping this is a large litter i have now due, BLAA, I keep in small fridge an egg with sugar to whip during labor for quick pick up and they most readily eat it up. Good for them. Plenty of water and ice. I keep the dirty soiled papers out, new ones in as the procedure procedes on to an entire litter finnaly at morning after all night along, ZZZZZZZZ. I have gloves, scalle, pepto for pups, acholol, sizzors, collors of necks, so much stuff I store like a pac rat I am told, the heaters u see ob the walls produce plenty of heat and have a huge commericial fan in all to low into both rooms if too warm for girls.. we have a back door to let them out for potty but for two days they lay with babies and eat and clean and then relax like I do to go potty such wonderful females i have I cannot begin to tell you sooo smart, they know my hand signala rather than me even speak much anymore. I keep a large bag for afterbirth, I do not like them to eat it all it delays the bowel movements normally so. I grab the sac and clean the pup and rip it off and place in the large green bag, it save their stomachs also of so much afterbith of black stools hard. I am so excited yet kinda stressed as If I were to loose a girl in whelp I would just die and it happens and can. They bleed and it is mostly when vets are on weekend emergency calls of humumgous call fees. So, I am ready to see how Many Girle has, then comes Sally mid Oct she is loaded up now, early with pups and both girls have awesome puppies I am keeping a girl from both, do not know why people want males, but oh well. Then comes Oceana first litter I am really worried about as she has a car accident last Dec 9 broken pelvie 3 places, clean breaks, crated for 3 weeks my first experioence with crates, she loved it and was walked to pee and poo poo no steps for 3 weeks, soon she wanted to fly but we held her back then came her heat all of Jan we skipped, vet said she is ok to breed, I said: Oh No she is NOT at not two years till July 1st. So, we are waiting and wondering who offers us the extra pup for most customers want males this time comes in spirts seems and I am keeping one from each girl and maybe a top male pup for stud to back Gino with all his problems, if there is one I will keep one from him just in case for his lines are getting old. Hey, I read on a Seiger show in Germany results from huge show and Marko della Valcuvia was best producing stud, that is Inko's daddy he is a super great stud hard to get a puppy out of him but with some pulll and money I did!!!!!!!!!!!! INKO THE GREAT ONE, LOL. The contest will be simple just few early facts before making a formal thread of: why u want one of my german bred -puppies, , what are u going to do with it, how are u keeping it since in many photos I see dogs tied, I will NOT tolerate that at all, these are now $800 pup raising to $1500 in 06, so keep in mind your story of kinda how your going to keep this puppy as a family member, go places in the auto with family, sleep with family, fed the best of the best, brushed and try to make it in Obedinece of Therapy or search n Rescue but certainly NOT necesssary as my lines are working n show from Germany. If for just a gorgeous pet to walk and run with...........fine. Just let me know into detail your story of what you will do with this special puppy and if he will be trained or be a pet and kept indoors of course. I would like to see the indoors also. I am ready soon as I see what litter has an excess of u get one superr pup I promise so get ready to be taken over by a pure German Shepherd of toughness, playful, readiness, loving, bonding like super glue, protection instinctively, highly playful, can go all day long in hot days, easy to train n love and most of all so gorgeous they hold the pigment for many many years. Loves water by the way just in my lines............Think now u have time to come up with good thoughts to win the puppy photo I post up u will die for I promise~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We have heated indoor whelp rooms till pups get some older then go out to air cooled huge kennels with boxes insulted for a day and brought back in for night with mommy dogs are so cared for I do without, they get the utmost best,,,,,,,,,,,,I do not, lol |

Oh my goodness. It looks like there is a lot involved in puppy birthing. I am glad that I made the decision to have my cocker fixed because I don't think I have the time or experience to handle what you are doing. Good luck with the pups and remember...breathe!!!!

Looks like your ready for anything...now all you need is momma and puppies. Shame you don't have a webcam...could give live feed of the puppies being born. I saw a website that had a webcam facing into a horses stall. She was about to foal.

Way ahead of u I always film the births, best I can if I do not have help. It is amazing how the plop out with my two best females. Nice big fat babies of one and half pounds or more, I weigh each one.
Girlee ate today put her down in whelp room she ran down but she is not really do till end of month but will never go for she is full of milk, temp dropped so matter of a day or two, I will post the litter up of how many, how they look, etc. go from there as Sally is next mid Oct and huge also. Both are fed well as all my dogs are and taken great care of and that is so important for nice big healthy puppies, lots of good milk, happy situation of trust they have in me they know how much I care and coaxe them along all night, most happen Fri or Sat evenings so far we were thinking today so when I am gone with no posts at all, u know I am busy, lol. I will be back with gorgeous fat healthy babies to show u all and I do make a video, just bought a 1200 Sony digital as I drown my other one, this one is 8 mega pixels, so if I can get a video up of some of the birthing it will be extra special to all to see...............nighty night all. |
